About Us

The Watchwrist was conceived by Swedish designer and engineer Mikael Andersson in 2019. The birth of this unique design came from his very own need for a watch stand that could showcase the crown jewel of the watch collection while still being beautiful and interesting enough to not look empty while the timepiece was being worn.

Mikael has a love for mixing modern and traditional design languages and materials, which led to the fist being produced with 3D printing technology, a cutting edge manufacturing process allowing for geometries and designs not otherwise possible. Here, left raw, the finish adds to industrial feel and look of the product. Meanwhile, the base is made out of the finest hardwoods finished with a Swedish produced linseed oil wax bringing out the beauty of the natural world. Tradition and technology, married in the best possible way.

The product is produced by the designer himself on a small scale here in Sweden. Each Watchwrist is handled with the love and care needed to make sure that the customer will be able to enjoy their watch holder for many years.
